Hey, As long as you’re not working both jobs at once, everything should be fine. Just follow the proper steps for your EPF transfer and double-check with your HR about the notice pay.

For EPF, if you’re paid for the full 3 months, your contributions will reflect that. Just make sure you transfer your EPF balance to the new company once you join them.

I feel, The key is that there’s no overlap in your working days.

If you continue to receive your salary for the remaining 2 months of the original notice period, you will technically be employed by both companies during that time.

Your employment contracts with both companies may have specific provisions regarding dual employment. Make sure to review both contracts carefully.

No it won't affect anything. You'll be working only in one company at a time. Just make sure to transfer your EPF balance to the new company.

Its alright to be nervous if you are switching for the first time. Let me help you with the answers, 1st - No you will not get any pay for the remaining 3 month of notice period as your company is willing to release you in 1 week so eventually you or your company do not have to pay anything to each other, 2nd - Even in your EPFO portal nothing will change, Once you leave the compant, Your last working day will be updated and new EPFO details will be updated by your new company. Relax nothing to worry about, Just ensure you have everything in written form from your current company like, Your resignation acceptance letter and other formal mails related to you last working day. Comment down for any more information

If your notice period is reduced to 1 week and you officially resign, you can join another company without creating a dual employment situation. If you’re paid for the 3-month notice while not working, it shouldn't cause issues on the EPF portal. Just make sure your new employment is documented to avoid complications. Always check your company's policies for further clarity!👍

3 months of notice is paid along with Full N Final Settlement. Your employment will end as per the LWD mentioned post discussion which in your case will be released in 1 week but take that information in writing to get the LWD updated in EPF records. No dual employment will be declared when employer/organisation is releasing you early.
