Business Analyst underpaid
I'm a senior business Analyst with 10 year experience but I'm paid less than 10LPA. I have been with same organization from beginning.
Now I'm looking for a job switch. These HR consulting firms are outright rejecting my profile once I mention my CTC to them. If I lie about my CTC to being 13 LPA also they are low Balling me saying budget is only uptill 40% whereas 40% hike also will still be on average salary level.
How do I deal this? After interview clearance does companies verify our pay slip? How can I secure atleast 1 offer so that I can try for jobs basing salary on this one?
Current company delivery head approved for salary revision, but HR is delaying it a lot. I am just tired of their delay game

10 years of experience and still under 10 LPA? You’re definitely underpaid! Try targeting mid-sized firms or product-based companies they tend to value experience better.

Most companies will verify salary via payslips or bank statements, but once you secure an offer, you can negotiate based on that! Keep applying aggressively.

40% hikes are common, but since you’re starting from a low base, you may need to switch twice to reach market standards. Have you tried connecting with hiring managers directly?
