Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Key Account Manager (KAM) to drive sales of our IT hardware and software solutions within enterprise accounts in Mumbai.
The KAM will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing new accounts, nurturing existing relationships, and strategically planning for project success.
This role demands a strong understanding of the IT landscape, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of success in enterprise IT sales, particularly within the SI (Systems Integrator) industry.

Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new IT sales opportunities within enterprise accounts, focusing on hardware and software solutions, including Cybersecurity, Networking, and Data Center solutions.
- Account Management: Manage and grow existing business relationships with key decision-makers within assigned enterprise accounts.
- Solution Selling: Understand customer needs and propose tailored IT solutions that address their business challenges.
- This includes presenting product demos, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within assigned accounts.
- Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring timely follow-up and effective communication.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including pre-sales, technical, and marketing, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends in IT hardware and software.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on account performance, sales pipeline, and market trends to the management team.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations, including C-level executives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field required.
MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of strong sales experience in IT Hardware and Software Solutions, specifically within the SI (Systems Integrator) industry.
Skills:
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing key accounts within the enterprise segment.
- Deep understanding of IT Hardware and Software Solutions, including Cybersecurity, Networking, and Data Center solutions.
- Experience selling to large enterprises.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the sales process and account management principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics in the IT industry.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Other Requirements:
Local candidates from Mumbai only.
Willingness to travel within Mumbai as needed.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Apple or HP products
