Role & responsibilities

1. To plan and execute the testing of vaccines.

2. Hands on experience in laboratory animal handling techniques and manage animal husbandry practices.

3. To support in the animal related procedures like sample collection, inoculation methods, animal segregation, euthanasia techniques, computation of animal experiment results and care of laboratory animals.

4. To maintain the records of animal breeding, form C and form D as per the CCSEA requirements.

5. To take the animal observation on daily basis for the test animals.

6. Monitoring of equipment, routine activities with related to temperature, differential pressure and other parameters of testing and breeding areas of animal house.

7. To prepare the SOPs, STPs and protocols based on the requirement.

8. To perform calibration for the instruments and maintain the calibration schedule.

9. To coordinate and execute the qualification of the laboratory equipment.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in vaccines for laboratory animal experimentation and management of laboratory animal breeding. (Mice & Guinea pigs)
