Quality Control Engineer

Role & responsibilities :

As part of production team, the responsibilities of the QC engineer includes the following

• Inspection of components and sub assemblies at the vendor's end.
• Monitor and improve the quality of operational processes and outputs at vendors sites
• Development and maintenance of quality management system documentation
• Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
• Root Cause Analysis & Appropriate Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions.
• Data Collection and statistical analysis.
• MIS report generating and circulating to management on a regular basis.
• Liaison between procurement and assembly.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Proficient in understanding of engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge of GD&T.
• Knowledge and experience in sheet metal fabrication & machining processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance and its tools.
• Familiarity with the use of MS office.
• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
