Manager-Payroll and Compliance

Job Description:

The Manager Payroll and Compliance at Zee Learn Limited will oversee the payroll functions to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee pay, while also ensuring compliance with relevant payroll, labor, and tax regulations. This role requires extensive knowledge of payroll systems and a proactive approach to maintaining compliance in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for accurate and timely employee payments.
• Ensure compliance with statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity) and timely filings.
• Conduct payroll reconciliations and align monthly payroll budgets with finance.
• Stay updated on employment laws, payroll regulations, and tax changes for compliance.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and address non-compliance issues.
• Generate and maintain accurate reports on payroll activities and statutory deductions.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and provident fund.
• Coordinate with benefit providers for timely enrollment and adjustments to plans.
• Develop and implement payroll and compliance policies for streamlined processes.
• Address employee inquiries on payroll and benefits, providing support and clarity.
• Conduct training on payroll policies, benefits programs, and compliance requirements.
• Manage payroll software and HRIS systems for data accuracy and efficient processes.
• Ensure secure handling of payroll data and adherence to confidentiality protocols.
• Serve as a contact for external auditors, statutory agencies, and service providers.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and HR teams to resolve payroll and compliance issues.

Skills and Qualities:

• Expertise in payroll and compliance regulations in India.
• Proficient in MS Excel and payroll management software.
