Post Doctoral Scholar - Virology, Immunology & Diagnostics

Core Scope of Work Virology/Immunology role:

• Conduct virology and immunology research studies
  
• Design study cohorts for infectious disease research studies
  
• Study coordination, epidemiological analysis and monthly progress reporting
  
• Manuscript writing

Core Scope of Work Diagnostics role:

• Conduct technology assessment/validation through diagnostic testing
  
• Review and summarize local regulatory requirements for diagnostic tests
  
• Study coordination, epidemiological analysis and monthly progress reporting
  
• Manuscript writing
  

Eligibility Criteria:

• PhD in Virology, Microbiology or Infectious Diseases completed within the last 5 years
  
• A strong publication record, with at least 3 scientific papers as first author
  
• Demonstrated interest and commitment to infectious disease research with a focus on improving diagnostics capacity within India
  
• Excellent organization and communication skills
  
• Experience with epidemiological analytics, next generation sequencing, and biomedical research is preferred
