Job Title : Data Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, pipeline development, and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing data pipelines and products, ensuring seamless data integration and processing across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines to support various business needs.

- Build ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources, ensuring data consistency and integrity.

- Work with structured and unstructured databases, optimizing performance and storage efficiency.

- Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Databricks, Airflow, and Spark to develop and maintain cloud-based data solutions.

- Apply best practices in data modeling to enable efficient querying and reporting for business intelligence.

- Ensure the reliability and accuracy of data pipelines through rigorous testing and validation methodologies.

- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to align data strategies with business objectives.

- Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

- Maintain detailed documentation of data architecture, processes, and best practices while ensuring adherence to compliance standards.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Industry Experience : 10-12 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data architecture, pipeline development, and cloud technologies.

- Proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and services like BigQuery, Databricks, Airflow, and Spark.

- Hands-on experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.

- Strong proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and analytics.

- ETL Extensive experience in ETL development, data transformation, and workflow orchestration.

- Solid understanding of data modeling techniques, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of data.

- Experience in implementing data quality checks, validation techniques, and error handling in data pipelines.

Preferred Skills & Certifications :

- Experience working with eCommerce systems and understanding of customer behavior analytics, sales data processing, and product recommendations.

- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker to help translate raw data into actionable insights.

- Cloud Certifications in Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure are a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
