Job Description

Job Summary

WN Infotech is seeking a Penetration Tester (Pen Test Engineer) to join our team. In this role, you will assess the security of our systems by identifying vulnerabilities and recommending improvements. Your work will help protect our companys data and ensure the safety of our digital assets.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Conduct penetration tests on web applications, networks, and computer systems.
Identify, document, and report security vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with developers and IT staff to address and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
Perform risk assessments and provide recommendations to enhance security.
Stay updated on the latest security threats, tools, and best practices.
Develop and maintain security testing scripts and tools.
Provide guidance and training to team members on security best practices.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, C++).
Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate complex security issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualification & Experience Required

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
0 to 5 years of experience in penetration testing or a similar security role.
Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, CISSP) are a plus.
