Role:Energy Component

Exp Level:4 - 7

About The Role ::

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Implementation of Energy Component (EC) application.
  • Responsible for Supporting Energy Component application (EC 13.2 Versions).
  • Functional knowledge and Responsible for generating Business Reports
    using Jasper/SAP BO/Yellowfin/Power BI applications.
  • SME for Production /Transport (Pipeline and Cargo)/ Sales module of Energy Component
  • Good Knowledge of Energy Business, Hydrocarbon Accounting, Production, Transport and Hydrocarbon Sales Operations


  • Duties:
  • Requirement gathering and design for Energy Component (EC) application changes requested by Business.
  • Write database Oracle PL/SQL code to enhance/create procedures/functions/triggers in EC application.
  • Enhance Java, XHTML, and XML codes.
  • Configure BPM and Business Process Automation in EC.
  • Configure and support EC matml calculations for Production/Transport Allocations.
  • Database package development for EC Production/Transport/Sales module and calculation engine.
  • Install and configuration of Energy component software on application server.
  • Configuration of new BO/Jasper/PowerBI reports into Energy Components.
  • Install and configuration of ECDB on database server.
  • Configuration of Interfaces (Inbound/Outbound) to EC using ECIS/Rest API
  • Knowledge of Rest API Interfacing mechanism would be an advantage.
  • Class Model changes according to latest version of Energy Component.
  • Creation and implementation of EC Extension packages in EC 13 version.
  • Configuration of customer asset specific customization in EC.
  • Validate system function/performance by developing and executing test scripts.
  • Perform emergency fixes for production issues on Energy Component application.
  • Facilitate with Quorum to test releases and plan for deployment of Patches/Service Packs.
  • Manage customer relationship by communicating Energy Component architecture, standards, framework, concerns, and issues.
