Head - IT Application

Purpose :

IT Application Manager (This person manages business applications that Improves operational processes and supports critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications systems)

Role & responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling the delivery process, including defining project scope, milestones, and timelines.
• Managing the budget and resources of the delivery, including allocating tasks to team members and ensuring that the project stays on track.
• Identifying and managing risks to the delivery, including developing contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
• Communicating with stakeholders, including team members, clients, and other stakeholders, to ensure that everyone is informed about the progress of the delivery.
• Tracking progress and making adjustments as needed to keep the delivery on track.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure that they have the skills and support they need to complete their tasks.
• Working with clients or other stakeholders to meet their needs and expectations.

Overall, delivery managers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• 15-17 Years
• Manufacturing Industry in synergies with Welspun Corp business operations
• Good general understanding of how large scale software systems are designed, built, tested, deployed and into the hands of customers.
• Strong understanding of delivery and go-to-market methods and metrics.
• Good general understanding of the role of product managers, product designers, engineers, quality assurance, devops and product marketers
• At least 2 years of experience working in the engineering organization of a product company using common Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, XP)
• Working experience in diverse domains including maintenance, supply chain, manufacturing or plantation.
• Technical expertise on systems, BI infrastructure, tech & reporting stack, etc.

Presenting data in charts, graphs, tables, designing and developing relational databases for collecting data and in some organizations, it also includes building or designing data input or data collection screens.
