Job Description
The Senior PHP Developer will be responsible for leading the development of web applications, ensuring the highest quality code and exceptional user experience. They will work closely with other developers, project managers, and stakeholders to develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure applications.
Role And Responsibilities:- - Lead the development of web applications using PHP and related technologies
- Collaborate with project managers to define project requirements and timelines
- Develop high-quality code that is maintainable, testable, and scalable
- Ensure code is secure against common vulnerabilities such as XSS, CSRF, SQL injection etc.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Mentor junior developers on best practices for software development
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in web development technologies
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes including daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions etc.
- Create technical documentation for applications developed
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a PHP developer
- Demonstrated expertise in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter or Symfony
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript / jQuery / Ajax etc.
- Experience with database design principles (e.g. MySQL)
- A strong understanding of software design patterns (e.g. MVC)
- A passion for writing clean, maintainable and efficient code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
