Senior Investment Banker - Private Equity & M&A - Healthcare & Financial Services (7-10 yrs)

Our client is a prestigious SEBI registered Category I boutique Investment Bank providing financial and strategic advice to our clients. The firm offers Corporate Finance (M&A Advisory & Capital Raise) and Asset Management (Public Markets, Early stage investment) Services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead M&A, private equity, and capital raising transactions end-to-end.

- Develop and review complex financial models, including DCF, LBO, and merger analysis and valuations.

- Conduct comprehensive research on the life science, healthcare, finance sectors identifying key market trends, investment opportunities, and potential risks

- Perform detailed financial analysis, build financial models, and conduct company valuations to assess the attractiveness of investment opportunities.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospective investors, and other stakeholders.

- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic advice and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

- Conduct deep-dive industry research to identify emerging trends and potential opportunities.

- Develop thought leadership insights and identify strategic initiatives for clients across sectors.

- Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members, including analysts and associates.

- Oversee due diligence processes, legal documentation, and regulatory filings to ensure adherence to compliance standards.

- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage risks associated with transactions.

- Contribute to the firm's business development initiatives, including identifying and pitching to new clients.

- Play a key role in building the firm's brand and expanding its presence in target markets.

Required Qualifications / Skills:

- MBA from Tier I campus, CA, CFA (completed or Level III preferred), or other relevant certifications.

- Minimum 7+ years of experience as Investment Banker with IB, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or similar roles. Prior experience in healthcare or life sciences or financial services industry is mandatory.

- Demonstrated experience in leading deal teams and managing client relationships.

- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson Reuters).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to senior executives and stakeholders.

- Deep understanding of SEBI, RBI, and other regulatory frameworks relevant to investment banking in India.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify strategic opportunities for clients.
