Technical Skillset / JD (Must have)

• Proven experience as HMC operator
  • Drawing/Blue print Reading
  • Knowledge of various measuring Instruments (Dial Indicator, Micrometer, Vernier PIE tape etc.)
  • Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
  • Independently able to change setups and offsets.
  • In depth knowledge of the CNC / HMC Machines, Programming.
  • Tool Selection, Cycle time optimization
  • Setting and Operations independently, Tryouts.

Technical Skill set (Good to have)

1. Tolerance analysis 2. Machine Maintenance 3. CNC G code & M codes 4. Independent 2 D programming

Special Skills

Experience of working on HMC/HBM having more than 2 meter travel along Longitudinal & transverse axis

Job Description

• Reads and interprets engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to identify machining requirements for assigned parts.
  • Writes and edits CNC programs using specific G-code and M-code instructions tailored to the machine's capabilities and the desired machining operation.
  • Optimizes programs for efficiency, considering factors like cutting speeds, feed rates, and toolpaths to minimize production time and maintain part quality.
  • Tests and verifies programs through simulations or dry runs to ensure accuracy and identify potential errors before actual machining.
  • Sets up the CNC boring machine, including preparing the work holding devices, installing appropriate tooling, and calibrating the machine according to program specifications.
  • Loads and secures work pieces onto the machine table, ensuring proper alignment and safety.
  • Executes the CNC program and monitors the machining process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain accuracy and address any unexpected issues.
  • Performs quality control checks on finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements.
  • Maintains the CNC machine, conducting routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor troubleshooting to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Responsible for maintaining machine documentation, including program files, setup records, and inspection reports.
