Note - Please note that only candidates who have completed their Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification and possess relevant experience in the Fintech, Banking, and NBFC industries will be considered for the interview.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Spearheading Finance department (direct Manager – Managing Director George / matrix manager – Svetlana)
• MIS Reporting
• Direct Tax Compliances
• RBI Compliances
• Indirect Tax Compliances
• Timely and accurate completion of audit
• Timely and accurate completion of accounting and financial statement
• Income Tax Compliances and assessment
• GST and Tax Audit
• Statutory and IFRS Audit
• GST Compliances, advisory and litigation support
• Steering the overall areas of Direct Tax, Payroll Process, Income Tax, Sales Tax, Service Tax and Financial Service, Accounting Services and
• Managing annual accounts & return filing as per Companies Act 1956 and Companies Act 2013
• Framing tax plans & ensuring timely assessment and filing of tax returns as per the provisions of regulatory tax acts; monitoring preparation and issuance of Form 16 and Form 16A
• Compiling details and filing TDS, VAT & Service Tax Returns as well as completing Tax Assessments (Income Tax, VAT, Service Tax); managing the preparation and filing of VAT/CST Returns on monthly basis; ensuring on-time payments (monthly) of VAT / CST
• Conducting internal / statutory audit, evaluating internal control systems with a view to highlight shortcomings & implementing recommendations made by Internal Auditors; ensuring compliance with all statutory & regulatory requirements
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to RBI\ Ministry of Finance and other regulatory authorities
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions
• Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions and events in accordance with accepted local accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Using various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data for accounting and reporting purposes.
• Computation and payment of staff salaries monthly.
• Financial Reconciliation of bank statements (CRM vs Core-banking software)
• Ensuring appropriate financial control in compliance with Indian legislation
• Advising on the improvement of financial management system, internal control system, the use of financial management software, the medium-term and program budgeting
• Cooperation with external auditors to carry out annual external auditing.
• Supervision the day-to-day operation of the accounting

QUALIFICATIONS

• CA professional with a dynamic career of over 10 years post qualification
• Experienced in spearheading a wide spectrum of Finance & Accounts activities encompassing Finalization of accounts, Taxation, Auditing, MIS reporting, cash flow management & fund management & Relationship with government authorities and RBI
• Experienced with start-ups
• Experienced in implementing financial procedures, maintenance & finalization of accounts as per statutory requirements and liaising with tax authorities for addressed of taxation matters
• Successfully prepared various statutory returns for corporate and non-corporate entities, for RBI, required under various statutes & for Investors
• Experienced with all processes independently, not only through team management.
• Good team leader
• Experienced in bank's & NBFC's industries + clarify please the turnover's size
• Desirable to have CA (Rank Holder) from Institute of Chartered Accounts of India
• Availability of Academic achievements will be an advantage
• Complete higher education in accounting/finance (with honors will be an advantage), CAP certificate is preferable.
• At least 6 years of experience on Chief Accountant position (relevant working experience in non-banking financial companies is a significant advantage)
• Ability to work in a multicultural diverse environment and under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information in a sensitive and tactful manner.
• Adhere to strict confidentiality involving, staffing concerns, student matters, and internal/external correspondence.
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
• Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Knowledge of Tally software
• Knowledge of Zoho software will be an advantage
• Ability to plan, manage and follow through on assignments and communicate at all levels of the organization in a timely and professional manner.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team with minimal supervision.
