Job Title: IT Infrastructure Manager

Department: GRO-IT

Reports To: Director - IT

Location: Jhagadia , Bharuch

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Experience in (In Years): 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management

Purpose of the Role:

- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead and oversee our on-prem & cloud-based infrastructure.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AWS and GCP cloud platforms, with hands-on experience in managing and maintaining complex IT environments. Experience with Linux systems is highly desirable.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP platforms.

- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud resources.

- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.

- Implement and maintain cloud security best practices.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans.

System Administration:

- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based servers, network devices, and storage systems.

- Proactively monitor system performance and identify potential issues.

- Troubleshoot and resolve system and network problems.

- Implement and maintain system security measures.

Team Leadership:

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other IT staff.

- Collaborate within the IT Infra team & Software team to ensure seamless integration of systems.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure and processes.

- Generate regular reports on system performance and capacity.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems.

- Proven experience managing AWS and GCP cloud environments with relevant certifications (AWSCSA, GCCPCA).

- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware).

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
