Credit Control Executive

We are seeking a Credit Control Executive to help manage our credit operations and ensure timely collection of payments from our retailers. In this role, you will monitor overdue payments, engage with clients via phone calls to follow up on outstanding balances, and ensure we maintain healthy financial relationships. Your primary goal will be to minimize financial risk by collecting payments on time and fostering strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess Creditworthiness: Evaluate new and existing retailers to determine appropriate credit limits.
• Collections: Monitor outstanding payments, follow up with debtors, and negotiate payment plans to ensure timely payments.
• Reporting: Generate regular reports on credit status and collections. Analyze trends to assess potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales and finance teams to align credit policies with business goals.
• Risk Management: Identify and address potential credit risks and ensure proactive measures are in place to minimize defaults.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintain a positive relationship with retailers while ensuring timely collection of dues.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in credit control or a similar role. Experience in the garment or textile industry is preferred.
• Skills:
• Proficient in Tally and Advanced Excel.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Education: B.Com or equivalent degree
