Quality Engineer - QA/QC - Mechanical

Job description

Heavy Machining / Engineering company with large sized VTL's & HBM's located in Phase III, Jeedimelta, Hyderabad.

Role & responsibilities

• Quality Control like Checking of job as per drawing.

• Coordinate and perform inspections of raw materials and finished products as well as manufacturing processes thereby involved including machining, turning, boring, assembly, etc.,

• Ensuring high quality of all components made and making improvements for achieving better quality particular in area of machining/fabrication/production.

• Conduct inspections of materials to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Perform dimensional and visual checks using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Prepare detailed quality reports and and resolve quality issues.

• Basic instruments knowledge with least count (Vernier Calipers, Inside Micrometer etc).

• Final inspection work.

• Visual and dimensional inspection in quality.

• Proper GD&T Knowledge.

• Drawing Reading.
