Job Description
- Strong knowledge and experience in pathology.
- Proficiency in histology and laboratory medicine.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in animal dosing via various routes.
- Knowledge of veterinary medicine and animal diseases.
- Perform animal anesthesia (injectables and inhalation), blood collection via retro orbital plexus, maxillary vein and tail vein.
- Perform Euthanasia (Cervical, CO2 asphyxiation, anesthetic overdose), and Necropsy, gross pathology and histopathological examination of animals tissues.
- Preparation of Clinical pathology reports.
- Support in GLP/Non GLP studies by providing information on pathology related procedures and contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
- Responsible for archival slides, wet samples, and specimens.
- Responsible for maintenance, calibration and ordering of laboratory equipment and instruments and chemicals required for histopathology lab.
