Velotio - Senior Business Analyst (7-8 yrs)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team and contribute to the development of a cutting-edge payments orchestration solution for a rapidly expanding US-based client.

This role will require a strong understanding of payment gateways, payment processing, and payment integrations.

The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate closely with various teams, including product, marketing, and other cross-functional departments, to shape our product strategy and roadmap.

This is an opportunity to explore the complexities of global payments and design innovative solutions that will expand our customers' international payment capabilities.

Responsibilities:

- Work with team members and business stakeholders to evaluate the value, dependencies, and feasibility of new product ideas.

- Prioritize requirements to meet both customer and business objectives.

- Coordinate product releases to ensure customers, potential clients, and staff are informed, trained, and engaged with new features and products.

- Define and manage product scope, ensure timely feature development, and analyze the success of implemented features.

- Create detailed product requirement documents (PRDs) that outline business cases, user scenarios, requirements, success metrics, and return on investment (ROI).

- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure rapid time-to-market and successful delivery of products.

- Lead various tasks within the team to achieve both short-term and long-term goals.

- Conduct user interviews, coordinate usability testing, and monitor usage metrics.

- Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and demos.

- Work with stakeholders from payment provider partners, data teams, and other relevant departments.

Desired Skills:

- 7+ years of experience in a product-related role, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.

- At least 2 years of experience in payments, FinTech, or payment gateways.

- Demonstrated understanding of the payments ecosystem and how merchants accept and process digital payments.

- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and release process.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.

- Ability to identify opportunities for product improvements and new product development.

- Ability to lead a team of product developers and collaborate with external contractors.

- Experience working with business development and client-facing teams.

- Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field
