Role & responsibilities :-

Job Description

• Oversee the filing and maintenance of intellectual property applications, protecting the brand intellectual property by regular searching and keep filing oppositions and objections before authority and forums.
• Designing and implementing a legal framework, internal policies, procedures, and guidelines, including contract management, to bolster business growth and ensuring the safeguarding and protection of the company's reputation, business interests, data protection and privacy product rights, supplier and customer relationships, and international trading operations;
• Provides regulatory legal advice and coordination on Corporate Policy Implementation. Oversight on ISO standards compliance, advising on regulatory requirements related to project risk and for impact assessments the region
• Conducting Due Diligence and various stages of Documentation, drafting of share purchase agreement & shareholders agreement; Preparation of Banking, Finance Documents and other legal documents
• Actively drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide spectrum of contracts relevant to company operations (e.g., Commercial, Labor, Service, Supply, Distribution, Endorsement, Advertising, Marketing, Assignment, NDA, Privacy Policy & Promotion agreements); continuously suggesting appropriate contract structures and solutions to effectively manage risks
• Identifying critical contractual and regulatory issues and translating evolving legal trends, litigations, and legislations into actionable insights for the business
• Engage with government authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Represent the organization in discussions with regulatory agencies when required. • Ensures the portfolio of contracts in the business follows contract and claim management methodologies in accordance with internal standard procedures;
• Collaborate with the Senior Leadership and Management to develop and lead the implementation of legal strategy
• Provide guidance to the company on special Acts, supervising the complete life cycle management of the company's products, ensuring compliance with The Pharmacy Act, Drugs & Cosmetics Act, Patents Act, Trademarks Act, related regulations, and specific country regulations where the products are registered
• Review and drive the policies in compliance with legal regulations (e.g. Code of Ethics, HR compliance, POSH, Etc.)
• Actively supporting the evolution of the go-to-market model by preparing, updating, and negotiating commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, and local authorities
• Managing litigation matters, including Writs, Arbitration, Summary Suits, Injunctions, Recovery Cases, 138 Cases, FIR, Consumer Cases, Specific Performance, Land Acquisition, Trademarks & Copyright
• Developing data base Segregation of leasehold/ freehold properties, saving original title/ parent documents of the properties centrally. Providing legal support in optimizing real state of the company. • Manage and protect the organization's intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
