Job Description
Full Time/Permanent - Vehant Technologies / Noida 4-8 Years
Resposnsibikities
- Work in a team environment as a key resource for the SCM teams to develop our products and new supply sources to improve cost competitiveness and be the bridge between the company and the designated suppliers.
- The prime responsibility will be to get products manufactured as per the quality norms and within the stipulated time frame.
- Supporting current production schedule, developing new suppliers to reduce cost, increase capacity, and auditing suppliers to ensure process conformance.
- Assists in the development, and maintenance of material specifications, vendor instructions, supplier documents such as Quality Control Plans.
- In depth checking of parts, sub-assemblies and complete assembly and prepare detail reports.
- Review and assess supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems
- Track supplier yield, field defect rate, corrective & preventative action and closure
Qualification and Required Skills
- Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering having about 4 to 8 years of working experience in vendor development and quality control in a manufacturing industry
- Preferably with sheet metal enclosures and various metal finishing processes.
