Civil Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to oversee site engineering and supervise the construction of high-rise building projects. As part of a prestigious real estate group, the ideal candidate will ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This role involves coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain seamless execution on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision & Management:

- Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities for the construction of high-rise buildings.

- Ensure that the construction process adheres to engineering designs, specifications, and quality standards.

- Monitor work progress, including labor, equipment, and material management.

- Lead and guide the site workforce (construction workers, technicians, etc.) ensuring effective coordination among teams.

Technical Oversight:

- Ensure the implementation of civil engineering designs and plans during construction.

- Verify that all structural components, finishes, and materials comply with approved specifications and safety standards.

- Conduct quality control checks, identifying issues early and taking corrective action when necessary.

- Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and technical specifications.

Project Coordination:

- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

- Organize regular site meetings to update stakeholders on progress, challenges, and timelines.

- Monitor project timelines and ensure all tasks are completed within the agreed schedules.

- Ensure all safety protocols and guidelines are followed on-site.

Site Safety & Compliance:

- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and occupational health standards.

- Monitor site conditions, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions.

- Assist in preparing safety audits and reports, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

Quality Control & Reporting:

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of work is in line with industry standards.

- Document and report on site progress, safety observations, and issues to senior management.

- Maintain site records, including daily reports, material usage, and labor attendance.
