Senior Performance Test Engineer || Immediate Joiner

Shift Timings : 12.30 PM - 9.30 PM

Skills Required:

Performance Testing Tools: Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter Scripting

Languages: Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C#.

Database Knowledge: Understanding of database concepts, including indexing, caching, and query optimization.

Operating System Knowledge: Familiarity with operating systems, including Windows, Linux, or macOS.

Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Performance Testing Planning: Develop a performance testing strategy, identify performance goals, and create a test plan to ensure the system meets the required performance standards.

Load and Stress Testing: Design and execute load and stress tests to evaluate the system's behavior under heavy loads, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance.

Capacity Planning: Analyze the system's capacity to handle increasing workloads, identify scalability issues, and recommend infrastructure upgrades or optimizations.

Performance Metrics Monitoring: Identify and track key performance metrics (KPIs) such as response time, throughput, and resource utilization to ensure the system meets performance standards.

Root Cause Analysis: Investigate performance issues, identify the root cause, and recommend fixes to improve system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Development Team: Work closely with the development team to understand system requirements, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Develop and Execute Test Scenarios: Create and execute test scenarios to simulate real-world workloads, identify performance issues, and measure system performance.
• Analyze and Interpret Results: Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide recommendations for performance improvement.
• Communicate Performance Results: Present performance results to stakeholders, including development teams, project managers, and business leaders.
• Maintain Performance Test Environment: Ensure the performance test environment is properly set up, maintained, and updated to reflect changes in the system.
• Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in performance testing and optimization.
• Develop and Implement Performance Metrics: Identify and develop performance metrics to measure system performance and track progress over time.
• Conduct Capacity Planning and Resource Allocation: Analyze system capacity, identify resource constraints, and recommend infrastructure upgrades or optimizations.
