PLC, HMI, drive Programming, and commissioning.Responsibilities (May include, but are not limited to):
PLC Programming: Develop and modify PLC programs using ladder logic, structured text, or other programming languages (specify preferred PLC brands/platforms, e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi). HMI Development: Design and develop HMI screens and interfaces for operator control and monitoring. (Specify preferred HMI software platforms.) Drive Configuration: Configure and program variable frequency drives (VFDs) and servo drives. (Specify preferred drive brands.) Commissioning: Commission and test automated control systems, ensuring proper functionality and integration with other equipment. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot control system issues, including PLC, HMI, drive, and network problems. Design & Documentation: Develop electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and other documentation related to automation systems. Hardware Selection: Select appropriate hardware components, such as PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, and actuators. Installation Support: Provide support during the installation and wiring of automation systems. Testing & Validation: Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure compliance with specifications. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in existing automation systems. Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and operators to ensure successful project execution.
