SAP MM IS Retail Consultant (5-8 yrs)

SAP MM/IS Retail Bangalore

Location. Exp : 5 to 8 years.

Work Location : Bangalore.. 5 - 8 years of SAP experience in SAP MM/IS Retail.

Responsibilities :

- Participate in full lifecycle SAP MM/IS Retail implementations, including requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

- Configure and customize SAP MM modules, including master data management, purchasing, inventory management, and invoice verification.

- Configure and customize SAP IS Retail modules, including article master, purchasing, assortment management, and promotion management.

- Integrate SAP MM/IS Retail with other SAP modules, such as SD, FI, and WM.

- Develop and maintain functional specifications and technical documentation.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM/IS Retail solutions.

- Design and optimize business processes related to procurement, inventory management, and retail operations.

- Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users.

- Provide technical support for SAP MM/IS Retail issues and incidents.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions.

- Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization.

- Troubleshoot issues related to IDOCs, BAPIs, and other integration technologies.

- Develop and execute test plans and test scripts.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

- Ensure the quality and accuracy of SAP MM/IS Retail configurations and customizations.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and test scripts.

- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for clients and team members.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP MM/IS Retail functionalities and best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers. -

- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

- Participate in testing cycles.

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 to 8 years of SAP experience in SAP MM/IS Retail.

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM modules (master data, purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification).

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP IS Retail modules (article master, purchasing, assortment management, promotion management).

- Experience with integration of SAP MM/IS Retail with other SAP modules (SD, FI, WM).

- Knowledge of IDOCs, BAPIs, and other integration technologies.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience in the retail industry is highly desirable. -

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP MM/IS Retail certification.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Retail.

- Experience with Fiori apps.

- Experience with SAP Solution Manager.

- Experience with ABAP debugging.
