Job Title: Product Design - Design Strategist

Location: Trivandrum, Kerala

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver UX engagements with business and technology teams, ensuring user-centric designs that align with business objectives.
• Design and execute digital products by considering usability, aesthetics, and user experience principles.
• Work with a variety of tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, InVision, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to create high-fidelity prototypes and design systems.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, handling complex design problems across different platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and refine Design Language Systems that ensure consistency across products.
• Apply expertise in color theory, typography, and visual design to create engaging and effective user interfaces.
• Understand the challenges of web design, front-end development, responsive design, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and end-users.
• Provide mentorship to junior designers and contribute to the overall design strategy and vision.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor of Design (B.Des) or Master of Design (M.Des)
• Experience: 8+ years in digital design disciplines, with a focus on usability and UX strategy.
• Skills:
• Strong foundation in color, typography, screen layout, visual design, motion design, and micro-animation.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, InVision, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Expertise in designing for various platforms and managing multiple complex design problems.
• Knowledge of web design, front-end development challenges, and responsive design principles.
• Experience in building and maintaining Design Language Systems for digital products.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and a strong visual design sense.
• Portfolio: A compelling design portfolio showcasing exemplary work is required.
