Role Description
As a Lead AI Engineer, you will play a key role in architecting, implementing, and deploying AI agents powered by cutting-edge deep learning and generative AI technologies. Working on complex, real-world challenges, you will leverage advanced AI concepts like reinforcement learning, transformer-based architectures, and Bayesian models to create scalable, practical solutions that impact industries globally.

Key Responsibilities
AI Team Development
● Recruit, train, mentor and manage a team of mid-level and junior AI developers.
● Assume ownership of AI roadmap and function as an engineer manager for the AI team.
AI Development and Deployment
● Design, train, and deploy deep learning models, including transformers and their variants, tailored to real-economy use cases.
● Develop generative AI frameworks, such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agent modules.
● Implement reinforcement learning workflows to train and enhance transformer-based models.
Software Engineering
● Write high-quality, production-grade Python code with a focus on modularity and scalability.
● Utilize PyTorch extensively to design and fine-tune advanced deep learning architectures.
Research and Innovation
● Stay at the forefront of AI advancements by reviewing academic papers, journals, and attending conferences.
● Contribute to the development of proprietary AI methodologies and tools.
Portfolio and Technical Skills
● A portfolio showcasing active GitHub repositories and proof of work.
● Ability to demonstrate live coding skills in Python and PyTorch during interviews.

Qualifications
● At least 5+ years of experience in AI, with a focus on deep learning, generative AI, and reinforcement learning.
● A proven track record of impactful contributions in established companies or startups.
● Advanced Python programming skills.
● Extensive experience with PyTorch, particularly in implementing and training transformer-based models.
● Expertise in building AI modules like RAG and AI agent frameworks.
● A proven track record of impactful contributions in established companies or startups.
● Deep understanding of transformer architectures, generative models, and Bayesian approaches.
● Hands-on experience in training transformers using reinforcement learning techniques.
● Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
● Ability to work independently and remotely
