Role Overview Description
* Website Migration:

• Plan and execute the migration of the current websites to WordPress.
• Ensure the migration process is smooth, with no loss of data, functionality, or SEO rankings.
• Backup existing website data and content to safeguard against potential issues.

* Website Redesign:

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand the design requirements and business objectives.
• Customize WordPress themes to create a visually appealing, user-friendly website.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across devices.

* Functionality & Features:

• Integrate essential plugins and tools to enhance website functionality (e.g., SEO, analytics, contact forms, e-commerce, etc.).
• Develop custom solutions or modifications as needed.

* Optimization & Performance:

• Optimize the website for speed, performance, and SEO.
• Ensure compliance with web standards, including accessibility and security.

* Testing & Deployment:

• Conduct thorough testing of the website for functionality, design accuracy, and user experience.
• Launch the new website and provide post-migration support.

* Training & Documentation:

• Train team members on managing the WordPress website.
• Provide documentation on website functionality and key processes.

Requirements:
Education & Experience:

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in WordPress development, migration, and design.

Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in WordPress, including theme and plugin development.
* Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
* Experience with website migration and data transfer.
* Familiarity with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
* Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools.
* Proficiency with website optimization tools (e.g., Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix).
Soft Skills:
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
* Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce.
* Familiarity with web hosting environments and DNS configuration.
* Graphic design skills for creating visual assets.

Engagement Type:

• Job Type: Full-time 12 months contract with Arabian for Science and Technology Co on payroll with Uplers (10% TDS will be deducted)
• Location: Remote
• Working time: 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST
• Device: Talent has to use their own device
