Sales Associate

Roles and Responsibilities

At Universal System, as a Sales Associate you will have the following responsibilities:

• Planning and scheduling regular customer visits in various industries (mainly Steel, Metal, Power, Mineral etc) where you will be generating new leads and work on business development for our products/OEM
• Interacting with our customers to understand their needs, communicate our USP with them and make required proposals to do the same
• Making recommendations to customers about our products based on their requirement
• Presenting/introducing our products/OEMs to customers
• Create pricing offers based on the customer requirement
• Interacting with the finance department of the customer for payment related updates and bill submissions
• You should be involved in after sales service/support and should be able to communicate and interact with the service department

Required Candidate Profile

• Have 1-6 years of experience in Sales and Marketing
• Should be open to frequently travel to different business locations
• Have their own vehicle to travel (optional) and willing to travel to different business locations frequently (travelling related expenses are reimbursed)
• Strong Communication Skills
• Currently staying in Bokaro Steel City/ Angul/ Bhubaneswar. If you are staying in nearby areas, you should be willing to shift to Angul/Bokaro Steel City/ Bhubaneswar.
• Be well versed in e-mail and Microsoft Excel.

Preference will be given to candidates who:

The following candidates will be given preference:

• Have prior experience of minimum 1 years in BD/Sales in Steel, Metal, Power and Mineral Industries (Relevant experience in other industries will also be considered)
• Have prior relevant Experience in B2B sales
• Have knowledge of products like Drives, Motor, PLCs, LV and MV Switchgears etc.
• Are familiar with ABB/SCHNEIDER/ SIEMENS/YASKAWA/EWAC products.
