Performance Test Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Performance Test Lead to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing, with hands-on expertise in JMeter scripting and LoadRunner. As a Performance Test Lead, you will be responsible for leading performance testing efforts, ensuring optimal system performance under varying load conditions, and driving performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage performance testing initiatives for multiple projects.
• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Analyze and report performance test results, providing clear insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Conduct load, stress, scalability, and endurance testing to ensure the application meets performance standards.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on performance testing best practices.
• Optimize performance testing frameworks and automation for efficiency.
• Continuously improve performance testing processes and methodologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8-10 years of experience in performance testing with a strong focus on JMeter scripting and LoadRunner.
• Hands-on experience in creating and executing performance test scripts.
• Solid understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
• Expertise in identifying performance bottlenecks and troubleshooting issues across different layers (web, database, server).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret performance data and metrics.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in performance testing for web applications, APIs, and cloud-based systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based performance testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools and test automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of performance monitoring tools and techniques.
