Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Administrator with strong automation skills to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Snowflake environments, ensuring high availability and performance. You will also be responsible for automating various processes and operations in the AWS environment, utilizing Terraform and Python to streamline workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Snowflake environments to ensure efficient performance and availability.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure management using AWS services, Terraform, and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and performance within the Snowflake environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Snowflake-related issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain and enhance Snowflake architecture, including performance tuning and cost optimization.
• Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Provide support for database administration tasks, including backups, restores, and security configurations.
• Develop and implement best practices for data management, governance, and compliance.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in Snowflake administration with a strong understanding of the platform.
• Expertise in automating workflows and infrastructure on AWS, including experience with Terraform and Python.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and data governance.
• Proficient in database administration tasks (DBA skills are a plus).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
