Manager / Senior Manager - Finance & Taxation

Responsibilities

Taxation

• Manage tax audits and compliances.
• Provide inputs to tax consultants for Income tax return filings, assessments, appeals, etc.
• Provide inputs and division-wise profitability for Transfer Pricing audit.
• Prepare deferred tax working for quarterly audits.
• Track the changes in direct tax laws and regulations.
• Compliances of TDS payments, Returns including foreign remittances TDS.
• Working closely with tax auditor, consultants for the input requirements.
• Providing effective inputs on all direct tax related matters.

Banking

• Negotiate with banks, and financial institutions for new loans or working capital facility.
• Annual renewal of working capital facilities with banks on a timely basis.
• Documentation related to new loans and renewals.
• Ensure funding of foreign subsidiaries whenever required.
• Ensure FEMA / RBI compliances like filing of ODI, APR, etc.
• Improvising payments and trade mechanisms by the implementation of an e-banking facility.
• Liaison with banks for routine banking matters, opening or closing of bank accounts,

changing authorized signatories, tracking of charges, and borrowing costs, etc.

• Track the changes in FEMA and RBI Rules and Regulations.

Forex Management

• Forex hedging and controlling utilization of forward covers.
• Manage FOREX receipts and payments, taking FOREX rates for import and export

transactions, and EEFC account payments.

• Obtain and renew LEI Registration.
• File quarterly Foreign Currency Exposure certificate and audited Underlying Exposure

certificate with banks.

• Ensure MIS on FOREX.

Desired Skiils

• Experience of heading an accounts and finance department in the manufacturing organization.
• Excellent Experience in Fund, FOREX, Taxation and Investment Management.
• Excellent knowledge of all aspects related to Accounts and Finance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and timeline-driven environment.
