UI Developer

The AFC function performs a critical role in keeping Deutsche Bank s business operations as well as the global financial services clean from financial crime while serving the interests of the bank and the society at large. Deutsche Bank benefits from having a highly experienced and dedicated AFC function that helps the bank in taking care of future challenges in fighting financial crime. We use state of the art technology such as Java, Angular, Spring book, GraphQL, Microservices, Spark, Camel, Docker, Sonar, Bitbucket to support various business functions.

Deutsche Bank in Pune is looking for full-time UI developer who is responsible for creating interactive programs that enhance a customers experience with a brand and facilitate an enjoyable experience on the businesss website. UI developer also need to have a working understanding of coding and transfer the brands strength through the interface of a product.

Your key responsibilities

• Write code and write it well. Be proud to call yourself a programmer. Use test driven development, write clean code, and refactor constantly.
• Define and evolve the architecture of the components you are working on. Contribute to architectural decisions at a department and bank-wide level.
• Exposure to performance analysis and improvement.
• Help your team build, test and release software with the short lead times and a minimum of waste. Work to develop and maintain a highly automated Continuous Delivery pipeline.
• Work as part of a delivery team, collaborating with others to understand requirements, analyses and refine stories, design solutions, implement them, test them, and support them in production.
• Help create a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond.

Additional responsibilities of this role are:

• Design and develop excellent, ergonomic, and understandable user interfaces. Work closely with users to gain feedback and ensure they are fit for purpose.
• Ensure that the software you build is reliable and easy to support in production. Be prepared to take your turn on call providing 3rd line support when it s needed.

Your Skills Experience

Common Knowledge :

• Have extensively worked on Angular, creating shared libraries, common components etc. Hands-on development experience is must.
• Knowledge of UI architectural design patterns, layout structures like Monorepo.
• Extensive experience of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Redux, Bootstrap, Node.js, Wiremock etc.
• Able to guide junior UI developers in coding, designing and other development activities
• Experience working in an agile team, practicing Scrum, Kanban

• Knowledge gained in Financial Services environments, for example compliance, trade lifecycles, regulation, risk, financial reporting.
• A background in creating high-quality web-based user interfaces. An understanding of how to ensure these interfaces are easy to navigate, linkable, responsive and accessible.
• An understanding of REST principles and associated technologies
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Practical experience of delivering good quality code within enterprise scale development

Tool Knowledge :

• VS code, Sonar Qube, Jira, Confluence

Deployment - Automation CI Experience [Level: Basic]

• (GIT, Maven, Artifactory, Jenkins, Teamcity, Puppet, BladeLogic)

You are expected to have technical basic understanding on technologies like Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, Redux, HTML5, CSS3

The ideal candidate will have good English spoken and written skills, being an excellent communication with experience in stakeholder management.

You are required to have also a quick understanding / comprehension, being able to prioritize and work under time-pressure in a multi-project environment.
