Lead Technical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using Node.js, Angular, MongoDB, Laravel, and SQL.
• Lead and manage technical projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions on AWS and Azure.
• Oversee and coordinate project management activities using JIRA and Confluence.
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement AI-driven solutions to optimize workflows and processes.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our software solutions remain cutting-edge.
• Leverage knowledge of the insurance industry to deliver tailored solutions and meet specific client needs.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors/ Masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in software development with a focus on Node.js, Angular, MongoDB, Laravel Framework, and SQL.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
• Demonstrated experience in automating manual tasks using AI technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
