Project Manager (Biotech, Pharmaceutical)

Key Responsibilities:

• Project and Portfolio Management: Helping to manage the commercial roadmap, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope, and working with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams across global IT and business units to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
• Process Optimization: Continuously reviewing and improving frameworks, processes, and tools used for managing IT projects.
• Compliance: Ensuring that all IT initiatives comply with regulations such as GDPR and IT security policies.
• Vendor Management: Coordinating with external vendors to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
• Risk Management: Identifying risks, monitoring project milestones, and ensuring timely mitigation of issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• IT Project Management: Experience with managing IT projects in a global life sciences context, including understanding of methodologies like SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile, and Waterfall.
• Industry Experience: Prior work experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare technology sectors with a strong understanding of commercial operations or digital transformations.
• Experience with Commercial Systems: Familiarity with systems like Veeva CRM, Salesforce, and other commercial applications.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of GDPR, IT security, and corporate compliance, especially in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Business Analysis and Project Management: 5+ years of experience in business analysis and project management, especially in complex, high-risk projects.
• Teamwork and Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with various stakeholders across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: PMP, SCRUM Master, or similar certifications.
• Tool Proficiency: Experience with collaboration tools like ServiceNow, MS Teams, Smartsheet, etc.
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: The ability to think critically, analyze data, and make strategic decisions.
