Executive / Sr. Executive Quality (Inward Inspection)

Role & responsibilities

• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure alignment with quality standards and expectations.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and assess supplier performance, including audits, inspections, and quality checks, to ensure the delivery of defect-free products.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and resolve quality issues by leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with suppliers.
• Supplier Audits: Conduct periodic audits of suppliers facilities, processes, and systems to ensure compliance with quality specifications and standards.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of supplier performance, quality audits, inspection results, and corrective actions taken. Provide regular reports to management on supplier quality metrics.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with suppliers on quality improvement initiatives, promoting best practices, process optimizations, and cost-effective solutions to enhance product quality.
• Product Testing & Validation: Coordinate testing and validation of incoming materials and components to ensure they meet the required specifications
• Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with procurement, Product development, and production departments to address quality issues and improve product development processes.
• Supplier Development: Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers, conduct risk assessments, and assist in the onboarding and qualification of new suppliers.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of quality tools and techniques such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Control Plans, SPC, 8D, etc.
• Hands on experience in maintaining BIS standards
• Experience in working with IKEA standard is an added advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred candidate profile

1. Person should be experienced minimum 6 years in Supplier Quality Assurance
2. Hands on experience with BIS standard is must 
3. Experience with IKEA standard is added advantage.
