Salesforce Engineer / Developer

Location: Mumbai

Notice Period: within 15 days or immediate joiner

Primary Skills :

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of extensive application design, development, and configuration experience in Salesforce.
• Certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or equivalent.
• Product Knowledge: Excellent understanding of the Salesforce core product suite with deep expertise in at least two major cloud products (Sales, Service, Marketing, Community, Commerce, Einstein, etc.).
• Integration Knowledge: Knowledge of Salesforce integration is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Experience with release management, source control, automated builds & deployment concepts, and technologies such as DX scratch org, Ant, SFDC Metadata API, Jenkins, Git (Code Commit), and DevOps in a Salesforce environment.
• Methodologies: Exposure to Agile methodology and project management tools like JIRA.
• Additional Skills: Salesforce CPQ experience is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Good problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills with a focus on efficiency and attention to detail. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Education: Bachelor/Masters in Computer Engineering or similar.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Design, code, and unit test highly complex systems and/or applications on the Force.com platform. Integrate with other applications/platforms considering performance, user experience, reusability, scalability, mobile compatibility, testability, data integrity, operational effectiveness, cost, and time to market.
• Maintenance and Enhancement: Perform enhancements to existing implementations, support upgrades/maintenance, and clean-up activities.
• Administration: Administrate and configure Salesforce organization.
• Technical Standards Adherence: Contribute and adhere to technical standards, guidelines, and best practices in design, application programming, code review, deployment, environment refreshes, data migration/integration, application monitoring, and iterative refinement.
• Requirement Analysis: Analyze requirements, document, and communicate optimal design/development approach to meet requirements with detailed design and technical specifications.
• Collaboration: Partner with Product Owner(s)/Business Analyst(s), QA, and other Salesforce developers/specialists actively in Sprints to roll out deliverables on time.
