Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Sales & Operation Planning Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role involves working closely with our clients to enhance their sales and operations planning capabilities using Oracle's suite of applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management, analytics, and Oracle ERP solutions, coupled with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Collaborate with clients to assess their current sales and operations planning processes and identify areas for improvement.
  •  Design and implement Oracle Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  •  Analyze and interpret data to provide insights that inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate clients on best practices for S&OP using Oracle tools.
  •  Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  •  Work cross-functionally with sales, production, and logistics teams to align planning processes with business goals.
  •  Continuously monitor and report on the performance of implemented solutions, making adjustments as necessary.
  •  Stay abreast of industry trends and Oracle product updates to provide clients with cutting-edge solutions.


Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  •  3-5 years of experience in sales and operations planning, preferably within an Oracle environment.
  •  Strong understanding of Oracle ERP applications, particularly in the context of S&OP.
  •  Excellent analytical skills with experience in data modeling and forecasting.
  •  Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  •  Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  •  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong client relationships.
  •  Oracle certification(s) related to S&OP or supply chain management is highly desirable.

1. Implementation and Configuration

  • Lead the implementation of Oracle Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) solutions for clients, ensuring alignment with business requirements and objectives.
  •  Configure and customize Oracle S&OP modules to optimize workflows and processes tailored to client needs.


2. Strategic Planning and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop comprehensive S&OP strategies that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacities to provide data-driven recommendations for planning and decision-making.


3. Client Engagement and Support:

  •  Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding S&OP solutions, addressing inquiries and providing ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle.
  •  Conduct training sessions and workshops for client teams to enhance their understanding and utilization of Oracle S&OP tools.


4. Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the S&OP framework, implementing best practices to enhance overall performance.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline S&OP processes and ensure consistency.


5. Reporting and Performance Measurement:

  • Create dashboards and reports to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, inventory, and operations, helping clients track progress against their goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of S&OP initiatives, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.


6. Collaboration with Technical Teams:

  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful integration of Oracle S&OP with other enterprise systems, such as ERP and CRM solutions.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and coordinating system upgrades or changes as needed.


7. Staying Current with Industry Trends:
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, market developments, and Oracle product updates to provide informed insights and enhance service offerings.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to further expertise in Oracle S&OP and related technologies.

8. Project Management:

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful delivery of S&OP projects on time and within scope.
  • Report progress to stakeholders and facilitate regular project meetings to ensure alignment and transparency.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Oracle S&OP Consultant or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of sales and operations planning processes and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and reporting techniques.
