Senior Manager BD Warehousing Sales

About the Role:-

As a Business Head for Supply Chain Logistics -3PL Sales & Operations, the candidate will be responsible for identifying and generating leads for the 3PL business as per TW's business plan. I will determine business development strategy and execute it which will be in line with organization's objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Prospect for potential new clients and convert leads...
• Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities - Pan-India is created.
• Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your contacts skills.
• Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
• Set up meetings between client decision makers and companys stakeholders.
• Plan approaches and pitches for developments business strategy.
• Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the clients needs, concerns, and objectives
• Participate in pricing with the solution design - Implementation / services - Ops / HR / FIN.
• Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion with the team - clients / business head / stakeholders.
• Present new services and enhance existing relationships - internal / externals clients.
• Work with technical staff (SDI) and other internal colleagues (Ops / HR / Fin to meet customer needs and for closure of business enquiries - RFI / NDA / RFQ.

Business Development Planning:

• Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution - 3PL Business.
• Using knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the companys unique selling propositions and differentiators - best in class services.

Management & Research:

• Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
• Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system if any.
• Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the BD team - Pan India.
• Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
• Work with marketing staff (FF) to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner. - RFI / ECL /NDA / RFQ....SLA / KPI...
• Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff - FFTeam / Deptt within the organizations.
• Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities and their presence in India ....taking TW to next level as 3PL players....to rely on.

Competent :-

• Ability to drive business growth, profitability, implement sales strategies, generate leads, and conduct market research.
• As a leadership skills, experience in 3PL or logistics business, strong negotiation skills, result oriented, a self-starter and a pro-active approach skills
