Manager / AM - Social Media & ORM

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Strategy:

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with the company's marketing goals and brand identity.
• Create, curate, and manage high-quality content across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others.
• Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize engagement and reach.

2. Content Creation and Management:

• Collaborate with the creative team to produce engaging visual and written content, including posts, stories, videos, infographics, and live streams.
• Plan and manage the social media content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting across all platforms.
• Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep content fresh, innovative, and relevant.

3. Community Engagement:

• Build and nurture online communities by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and engaging manner.
• Foster positive relationships with followers, influencers, and brand advocates to enhance community loyalty and brand affinity.
• Organize and manage community-driven initiatives such as contests, Q&A sessions, live events, and user-generated content campaigns.

4. Brand Monitoring and Reputation Management:

• Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, feedback, and industry trends, ensuring that the brand maintains a positive online presence.
• Address negative feedback or issues promptly and professionally, working to resolve customer concerns and enhance the brand's reputation.
• Use social listening tools to gather insights on customer sentiment, competitor activity, and market trends.

5. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work:

• Work closely with the marketing, PR, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive messaging and consistent brand representation across all channels.
• Coordinate with product and sales teams to align social media efforts with product launches, promotions, and company objectives.
• Collaborate with influencers and brand partners to extend the brands reach and engagement.

6. Analytics and Reporting:

• Track and report on key social media metrics, including engagement rates, follower growth, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
• Analyze the effectiveness of social media campaigns and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Present regular reports to the marketing team and senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and future opportunities.

7. Community Development:

• Identify and engage with niche communities relevant to the brands industry or audience, expanding the brand’s presence in these spaces.
• Develop strategies to encourage community participation and increase user-generated content.
• Organize virtual and in-person events to strengthen community bonds and increase brand loyalty.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in social media management and community engagement, preferably within an in-house marketing team.
• Proven track record of growing social media communities and increasing engagement on major platforms.
• Excellent content creation skills, including copywriting, photography, and video production.
• Strong understanding of social media analytics and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
• Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire online audiences.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing digital landscape.
• Experience working with influencers and managing brand partnerships is a plus.
