Account Executive

We are looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in TDS deduction, GST compliance, and general accounting. The candidate should be well-versed in maintaining financial records, handling dispatch operations, and managing financial activities like Letter of Credit and Bank Guarantees. The role involves supporting the finance department with monthly closures and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• TDS Compliance:
• Manage TDS deductions and ensure timely filing of TDS returns.
• Maintain TDS records, prepare and verify TDS certificates.
• GST Compliance:
• Well-versed with GST laws and ensure timely filing of GST returns.
• Manage GST records and documentation, ensuring compliance with the latest tax regulations.
• Dispatch and Logistics:
• Oversee the dispatch of materials and coordinate with the logistics team.
• Ensure smooth execution of e-Invoicing and e-Waybill generation for dispatched goods.
• Banking and Letters of Credit:
• Manage the opening of Letters of Credit (LC) and Bank Guarantees.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely execution of these instruments.
• Financial Reporting and Month-End Closure:
• Prepare financial statements and reports as per company requirements.
• Handle month-end closure activities, including posting of sales, purchases, bank, and journal entries.
• General Accounting:
• Handle day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in preparing financials for the company.

Skills & Requirements:

• TDS and GST Expertise: In-depth knowledge of TDS deductions, returns filing, and GST compliances.
• Dispatch Operations: Experience in dispatch of materials and handling related documentation.
• Financial Reporting: Knowledge of financial preparation, month-end closure, and general accounting processes.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software: Experience with ERP systems and accounting tools.
• Good Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and timeliness in financial operations.

Desired Qualifications:

• B.Com degree is mandatory.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, tax compliance, and dispatch management.
