Devops Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and modern DevOps tools and practices to automate, streamline, and enhance infrastructure and development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure:
  Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS. Services include:
• VPC, EC2, ELB, S3, SES, SNS, Route 53, RDS, EKS, ECS, and IAM.
• Containerisation and Orchestration:
• Develop, deploy, and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
• Create and maintain infrastructure configurations using Terraform.
• CI/CD Pipelines:
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and integrate tools like SonarQube for code quality checks.
• Monitoring and Logging:
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and visualization systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Messaging and Streaming:
• Manage and integrate messaging systems like Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Security and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with best practices for cloud security, IAM roles, and resource policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Cloud Expertise:
• Proven experience in AWS services like VPC, EC2, ELB, S3, SES, SNS, Route 53, RDS, EKS, ECS, and IAM.
• DevOps Tools and Practices:
• Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Experience with SonarQube for static code analysis.
• Monitoring and Logging:
• Expertise in tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
• Scripting and Automation:
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.) to automate processes and manage infrastructure.
• Messaging and Data Pipelines:
• Familiarity with Kafka for messaging and real-time data streaming.
• Version Control:
• Hands-on experience with Git and branching strategies.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
• Familiarity with additional DevOps tools and frameworks.
• Experience with Elastic Load Balancers and Auto Scaling Groups.
