Finance Specialist

Responsibilities:

• In-charge of over-all compliance operations of Thryve Digital LLP.
• Looking for 6 - 9 Years Experience candidates with Semi-qualified CA / CMA /Experienced Finance Professional graduation/ Post Graduate.

Income tax:

1. TDS Monthly TDS payments, Filing of quarterly return filings, Generation and distribution of TDS certificates (Form 16/ 16A)
2. Transaction advisory for TDS applicability
3. Advance tax - Preparing workings for Advance Tax and ensure quarterly payments
4. Calculation of Depreciation as per Income tax
5. Income tax return filing for Thryve and associated Gratuity trust.
6. Documentation & support for assessments and litigations.
7. Filing of Form 15CA & 15CB.
8. Filing of Equalization levy return

GST :

1. Filing Monthly returns of GST GSTR 1 (Outward supplies) and GSTR 3B (Summary return)
2. Generation of E-way bills
3. Application for LUT (Letter of undertaking) for zero rated GST supplies
4. GST Reverse charge compliances
5. Ensure annual audit is completed and report file (GSTR 9 & 9C), Filing of GST refund applications
6. Transaction advisory for GST applicability

SEZ:

1. Regular compliances such as Monthly Performance Report (MPR), Quarterly Performance Report (QPR), Annual Performance Report (APR), Half yearly Performance Report (HPR), Filing of SOFTEX and SERF forms
2. Filing of Temporary removal requests, generating request IDs for Branch transfers, Work from home approvals,
3. Filing Domestic service procurement forms and Obtaining approvals from Assessing officer (AO).

• Single point of contact for all tax related master data update and Thryve ‘Supplier portal’ related tax workflow approvals
• Assist in financial books close process monthly from general taxation POV
• Preparation of compliances calendar and tracking Statutory instances and notices for assessment / litigation.
• Assist Sr Manager Finance on special projects on taxation.
• Ensure adequate documentation for Internal Controls related to taxation, SEZ and compliances.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices to enhance the effectiveness.

Key skills and attributes

1. Sound understanding of Direct and Indirect taxation and MCA related legislations
2. Prior experience in return filing, co-ordination with Auditors, tax advisers and consultants
3. Experience in handling personal hearings/ interactions with officers / authorities would be an added advantage.
4. Learning on the Fly – Pro-active and self-driven to learn end to end finance functional areas.
