ThoughtFocus is looking for a Scrum Master who will be responsible for leading the engagement for our NYC and London based financial services client operating in Public/Private Loans, CLOs, and Long/Short Credit.

As a Scrum Master at ThoughtFocus, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of our strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and executives to align project objectives with the company's overall vision.

Requirements

1. 10+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in Capital Market

2. Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

3. Ensure that Agile ceremonies are efficient, productive, and time boxed.

4. Monitor and report on team progress using Agile metrics such as burndown charts, velocity, and cycle time.

5. Use metrics to identify areas for improvement and help the team make data-driven decisions.

1. Project Leadership: Lead and oversee all aspects of capital market projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

2. Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including clients, executives, and project teams, to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.

3. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively implementing solutions to minimize impact on project delivery.

4. Resource Management: Manage project resources, including staffing, budgets, and external vendors, to ensure optimal project performance.

5. Technical Expertise: Utilize strong SQL/Power BI skills to analyze data, develop insights, and provide recommendations to enhance project outcomes.

6. Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.

7. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging industry best practices and technological advancements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

8. Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the project teams.

9. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

10. Conduct retrospective meetings and incorporate lessons learned into future projects.

11. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.

16. Good to have some prior experience or a high-level understanding of hedge funds, private debt, and private equity.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / Finance / Economics or equivalent
