Private Banking Relationship Manager (RM)
Key Responsibilities :
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and manage strong, long-lasting relationships with high-net-worth clients.
- Provide personalized banking services and financial advice based on the client's needs, financial goals, and risk profile.
- Regularly meet clients to assess their financial status, review their portfolios, and propose suitable investment strategies.
Investment Advisory:
- Offer advice on a range of financial products, including investments, insurance, and estate planning.
- Develop customized financial plans and strategies for clients, focusing on wealth accumulation, protection, and transfer.
- Monitor client portfolios and ensure that their investment strategies align with their goals.
Cross-Selling Banking Products:
- Promote and cross-sell various banking products such as mortgages, credit facilities, investment products, etc.
- Ensure that clients are aware of the bank's full suite of services that could benefit their financial needs.
Client Acquisition and Business Development:
- Source new clients through referrals, networking, and other business development activities.
- Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities by identifying potential clients within target markets.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) policies, and other relevant laws.
- Assess and manage financial risks for clients, ensuring that solutions align with their risk appetite.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., investment advisors, portfolio managers) to provide integrated financial services.
- Collaborate with product teams to offer solutions that meet clients' needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA or relevant financial certifications (CFA, CFP) are a plus.
- Experience: Several years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or a similar financial services role.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong sales and business development abilities.
