Area Sales Manager - BFSI (2-5 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in Mysore. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of field sales experience, preferably in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), FMCG, Retail, or B2B sales. This role involves team management, business expansion, and achieving sales targets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of sales executives to achieve business objectives.

- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the assigned area.

- Identify and acquire new business opportunities through market research and networking.

- Set and monitor sales targets to ensure achievement of company goals.

- Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance performance and productivity.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.

- Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions for the team.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to optimize sales approaches.

- Ensure timely follow-ups and closure of high-value sales leads.

- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and operations to streamline sales processes.

- Maintain accurate records of sales performance, lead conversions, and business growth metrics.

- Travel within Mysore and surrounding areas to identify new opportunities and expand market reach.

Candidate Profile:

- Minimum 2 years of field sales experience, preferably in BFSI, FMCG, Retail, or B2B sales.

- Proven experience in team management and leadership.

- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

- Ability to analyze data and implement effective sales strategies.

- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Willingness to travel extensively within Mysore.
