A leading IT company is looking for a Software Validation Engineer with expertise in AUTOSAR Classic Diagnostics. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge automotive software validation and error management, collaborating with industry professionals in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in AUTOSAR Classic software validation, with strong knowledge of Vector CANoe, CAPL scripting, and ISO-14229. Candidates with additional exposure to Vector vTestStudio will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct end-to-end software validation for AUTOSAR Classic Diagnostics and Error-Management

- Develop and execute test cases, validation plans, and automation scripts for diagnostics software components

- Perform functional, regression, and automated testing to ensure compliance with industry standards

- Analyze, debug, and troubleshoot software issues related to AUTOSAR Classic diagnostics

- Identify root causes of software defects and work closely with development teams for resolution

- Perform detailed data analysis of error logs, failure reports, and validation results

- Utilize Vector CANoe and CAPL scripting to automate validation and testing processes

- Work with Vector vTestStudio for developing automated test environments (good to have)

- Implement test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts

- Ensure software validation aligns with ISO-14229 (Unified Diagnostic Services - UDS) protocols

- Maintain documentation for test procedures, defect tracking, and validation reports

- Work with teams to improve software validation methodologies and best practices

- Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and validation teams to enhance software quality

- Contribute to continuous process improvement by optimizing validation workflows

- Stay updated with the latest AUTOSAR technologies, automotive industry trends, and validation tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field

- 2-4 years of experience in Software Validation for AUTOSAR Classic Diagnostics & Error-Management

- Strong understanding of ISO-14229 (UDS - Unified Diagnostic Services) and automotive diagnostic protocols

- Hands-on experience with Vector CANoe and CAPL scripting

- Strong debugging and validation expertise, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues

- Familiarity with CAN, LIN, FlexRay, or Ethernet communication protocols

Good to Have :

- Experience with Vector vTestStudio for test automation

- Exposure to HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testing environments

- Knowledge of Python scripting for test automation

- Understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and BSW (Basic Software) components
