Senior Automation Engineer/PLC Programmar

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement software for Virtual Production Systems.
• Diagnose and resolve software and system issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Provide technical assistance and support to clients, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting problems effectively.
• Contribute to the standardization of software development practices and documentation processes.
• Assist in project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery of software solutions and milestones.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including operation philosophies, technical reports, and user manuals.

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on experience with PLC/SCADA systems, specifically Siemens and Mitsubishi.
• Proficient in communicating with various instruments and devices (e.g., printers, scanners) using digital/analog I/O.
• Strong understanding of communication protocols.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on problem-solving.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and standardization practices.
• Strong documentation skills, with the ability to generate clear and concise reports.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
