We are currently seeking a Sr. Designer - UG, reporting directly to Head of Department to join our Civil & Structural team based in Chennai .

About the mission we offer you:

• 3D modelling of Under Ground (UG) Networks (Foundation, Piping, Drains, Trenches, etc)
• 3D Modelling of all Underground Facilities
• Extraction of 2D Installation Drawings from 3D model including clash checking
• Extraction of UG Piping ISOs
• Incorporation of inter discipline comments and client comments
• Coordination with other engineering disciplines for clash resolution/technical issues
• Participation in Model Reviews
• Material take-offs
• Adhere to Corporate QHSE policy.
• Managing EPCM project with Team of 5 to 10 Designers as Area Lead
• Managing PMC projects as Area Lead Managing/Review of EPC contractor s UG and General Civil Drawings.
• Managing Site activities related to UG and General Civil Drawings.
• To ensure clash free models.
• Issue of UG/Civil Works Installation drawings with required quality as per project schedules.
• Follow up with other disciplines for comment resolution

About you:

We love to hear from you and how you match with this position. To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering with at least 8 years (or ITI with minimum 15 years) of relevant industry experience
• Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Fertilizer industries is preferred
• Experience in 2D drawings ( Autocad / Microstation etc. , )
• Experience in 3D Modeling (PDMS, S3D E3D, TEKLA etc. , )
• Experience in extraction of 2D drawings from 3D models.
• Shall be well versed with Indian and International codes (American, British, Euro codes preferred)
• Experience in Building drawings, Concrete Detailing, Architectural drawings preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is essential. Ability to foster communication within diverse cultural environments.

Qualifications: Diploma / BE - Civil

Languages: English + Professional

Main skills: S3D, E3D.
